The RC Today Show is hosted by Bobby Barr and Chris Boultinghouse, with occasional appearances by James Kovach. All three are dedicated RC fanatics, and fly a variety of things. All three also hosted the All Things That Fly / Inside Heli podcast.
Chris has been flying RC since 1980, starting with gliders and nitro trainers. There were no electric powered models back then! He dabbled with helicopters in the 80′s, but the expense was formidable so he gave them up for many years. The advent of relatively inexpensive electric helis enticed him back into the game, and the bug bit. Chris’ current passions are helicopters, hotliners, and DLG (discus launch gliders). He does seem to also have a lot of fun with a Parkzone Habu… so yeah, pretty much everything.
Bobby has been in the hobby for about five years. It started when his wife Melissa purchased him a high wing nitro trainer. It didn’t take long before that wasn’t enough, which led to a Hangar 9 Twist 40. Three years ago he found helicopters and his RC interests really sparked. Currently he is flying everything from planes, helicopters, a tricopter, gliders, and even a blimp! He even has a couple of RC trucks that keeps him grounded.
James is a slacker, and hasn’t provided bio info yet.
